ARCHITECTURAL COMMITTEE

The Architectural Committee is key to protecting our home values through curb appeal.
The goal is to make sure home exteriors maintain a well-kept and consistent "look and feel" throughout our community while allowing for updating to increase property values. This mainly focuses on home and landscaping aspects in front and side yards, but may include backyard items that are visible from the street or adjacent to a neighbor's property. Overall, it's a good idea to reach out to your neighbors if any change would affect their privacy or overlap on their property.
Committee members volunteer their time to advise homeowners and approve changes within Field Rush. Please reach out four (4) weeks before your project date to work through the HOA approval process in a timely manner.

Below is a list, of the most requested items, which require pre-approval from the Architectural Committee, but any addition or exterior change is within in committee's purview. If you are not sure if pre-approval is required, please reach out. Our CC&Rs allow the HOA to adjust, at the homeowner's expense, items which have not been pre-approved.

Please note, in addition to obtaining HOA approval, it's important to view any county or city codes that may affect architectural or landscape changes. An HOA approval is not a seal of approval from the county or city.

Present blueprints for any home additions -- sunrooms, new bedrooms, etc. -- beyond the original footprint of the home.
Exterior Paint & Siding Colors
In general sticking to earth tones is a safe bet when picking colors for exterior paint. A well-placed pop of color on the front door should not be overpowering. Driving through our neighborhood will give you a good idea of color schemes that have been approved in the past. To aid with viewing, please see the boundary map for our HOA.
Colors that have recently been approved:

Trim Colors: Natural Tan, and Extra White
Door Colors: Onyx Black, Caribe, and Club Navy

Exterior brick elements should not be painted.

It's common for the garage door color to match either the body color or the trim color.
